We had an adventure this weekend. Friday night we went to see "Dr Dolittle" at the Ruffin Theatre in Covington, TN. The kids loved it, there were kids playing most of the parts of the animals and it was just a fun time. Then afterwards, we went to my Mom's to spend the night. We got up this morning with the intent on cleaning out the shed as a major project for everyone for the day. I went to the store to pick up some things for breakfast and it began to rain. We decided it would be better to keep kiddos inside while it rained, so we went upstairs to work on moving some things around and cleaning up some. That went all well for a while, but then we had to quit b/c of a minor accident with a bed frame and a fall. Nuff said!
Jimmy and Anna made major progress in Daddy's shed today. You can actually walk in there now and find a FEW things. As long as no one else makes their way in to clean out (steal) more, we shall tackle more of it another day. But FIRST, we will check the weather forcast! haha
I had a terrible time first thing this morning, first the cashier at the grocery store was rude over a sale price on several boxes of cereal. Then, the appliance man was rude when he called me about a part he had ordered the day before and I failed to pick up Friday, even though I told him I would call if I *would* pick it up. Then I just couldn't get passed the fact today that my Daddy wasn't in the house. I cried myself to sleep last night, and it was totally overwhelming for the first several hours after I woke up this morning. I couldn't even walk thru the house without crying. Several times even boohooing, but then I could feel the prayers of my Momma and Jimmy for me and God gave me peace to walk one more step toward healing. Sometimes I wish I could move on quickly and at other times, I am thankful that I can't.
Tomorrow is another adventure, Jimmy is heading back to AL, and I need to wash clothes and head to church ON TIME (HAHA). THen head home to eat, pack and see him off by 3pm.
Better catch some ZZZZZZs first!
