We arrived blissfully (sp?) in Montgomery, AL Sunday night with a very peaceful ride. I was totally amazed, it was the best trip ever with the kiddos (and 7 hours too). Well, God laughed and let me rest b/c He knew what was ahead. When we got here Kirk was upset and couldn't sleep. He had slid in a fresh dirt hill Saturday and was in the beginnings of being COVERED completely with poison oak/ivy/sumac something. It was horrible! He took the full dose of Benadryl and bathed in Jewelweed soap and sauve. Then Monday Rebecca started itching, the Tuesday Abigail. I finally slept most of the night last night. Everyone is better today, but the jewelweed soap and oatmeal baths couldn't have hurt. It was great!
Thankfully we are better today and got to visit the Alabama Cattleman's Association "MOOseum". It was really fun. I will try to post photos later, probably when we get home this weekend if not tonight.
We will be leaving tomorrow afternoon heading back to TN.....I like break, but enjoy being home more!
