Wow! I had no idea that it has been weeks since I updated. Everyone here is still dealing with AL allergies and none too happy about it. Kinda scary to think about what it is in the air here that makes us all so sick. Kirk still doesn't have 100% of his hearing back yet, some days are better than others. Been to the Dr 3 times and it isn't infected just fluid on them that is blocking him from hearing.....so once we get back to TN it should clear up...so they say.
We are planning to be in TN by the first of April at the latest, we are looking to make a run of things back before then but just for an overnight trip.
I am heading to a consignment sale today that is huge.....really looking forward to it, but dinner before with friends will be even better.
Please pray for us as we are preparing to leave here (AL)....packing up and safety traveling, but most of all....we have made some dear friends here in 5 months and it is going to be very difficult to leave them b/c we know we will not be back soon. When we left home it wasn't so hard b/c we thought we would be home in 6-8 weeks. Kids cried for weeks especially at AWANA b/c they missed their friends. Now they cry when thinking of going back home and leaving these dear AL friends behind. All of our kids have a close friend here that will make it difficult and not to mention Jimmy and I. WOW! We see them all several times a week. It is just like God prepared us for years for this specific journey and we feel like we have known these families for many years. Only a God thing.
