WOW! 19 years ago today I said "I DO" to the one man I have ever loved as much as my Daddy. We used to joke that Jimmy had almost had me as long as my Daddy did and this year would be the year that Jimmy had me longer. My Daddy couldn't bear to live to see that. :o) Yes, I can talk about him now and smile, other times it is hard and I just say nothing and let others talk about Daddy.
WOW 19 years, I can hardly believe that we have lived with and loved each other for 19 years! I look forward to the day we can say we have lived and loved together for 79 years! Also, Jimmy turned 40 on Sunday. What a life we have. We have a wonderful property in TN, ok the house is less than to be desired, but it is shelter, but the grass, pond, trees, and land around us is beautiful. We have the freedom to travel to other states with Jimmy's jobs and see new things with the kids. We HAVE 5 children! I still remember telling him we may never have any.
We have so much in common yet so many differences. Thankful to be living life today and sharing it with the man I love! I still remember being asked by my best friend's mom before we got married "What makes him the one?" I couldn't answer that question and didn't particularly know why, I just knew. Well.....19 years later Mrs. Paula :), I still don't know, but I am glad I "just knew". Life has been a fun and fabulous adventure and I can't imagine anyone else in this world I would have wanted to spend it with! Happy Anniversary Jimmy! I love you forever!
