Losing a precious gift!

Words can not decribe the pain we have felt over the last week. We lost our precious 14yo Molly on Sunday Feb 27, 2011.

She had been sick with the flu, as had most of the family. She was better and playing outside Fri and Sat some but still resting. She started vomiting Sat afternoon at 4pm, 7pm, 9pm then about every hour. At 9am Sun morning, I decided it was time to go to the Dr and get a shot or something to stop this so she could rest. While I was getting dressed, Anna and Jimmy were looking up numbers to the Conv Care Clinic and our local Dr. Conv Care didn't open til 11am and I didn't want to wait that long. Dr Dowling didn't answer his home phone and before I could get dressed completely, she was beginning to show signs, I needed to go to the ER. Her hands and feet started to hurt, so we immediately left for the ER. She passed out on the way out the door and on the way to the ER she was having trouble breathing. By the time I got her into the ER (3-5minutes total), her heart was not responding. They started 2 IVs to force fluid into her, inserted a breathing tube and tried to get her heart to respond. We don't know why, but God called her home! We have hurt with a pain that is indescribable, yet still have a peace in the midst of the pain.

Please pray for our family as we take one step at a time to walk this journey of life without our Molly gift. She was such a blessing and touched people's lives we didn't even know. We have been overwhelemed at the number of people we have met this week because of her.

We pray that others see Jesus in us as we deal with this grief and pain and know that without Christ we are nothing. Molly loved the Lord and had a special way to pull others into her world of enjoying nature. Her enjoyment in life was contagious!

We miss you Molly!
