Life

Snow is all gone and the sun is shining today and the grass is beginning to turn green! My favorite time of year! I love going from Winter to Spring! Such a great feeling of going from a restful winter to the outside work of Spring. Although we haven't had much rest this winter. We have been working on the house and will hopfully have the upstairs finished in the next month. I am sure trying to get it that way anyway! I will be a mudding/sanding/painting machine soon! YEAH! Jimmy has been working hard on it every moment that he is home and not working for income he is working upstairs. It looks so good! Kids are very excited about it.

Jimmy is still working with a friend of his in MS, but may have an oppprtunity to do something locally very soon. That would be a HUGE blessing! We are so eager for a routine with him at home.

We have 3 new baby chicks we ordered from R&J Feed in Jackson. We picked them up yesterday. 1 Orange Wyandotte, 1 White Rock, and 1 Rhode Island Red (mine was killed by a neightbor dog). I am still trying to find a good layer from someone I know to replace mine, but we were going to add to our stock this Spring anyway.

Also, my cell phone quit working last week and I lost all my contact information. It was very frustrating b/c I had loads of new numbers in it. Oh well.....gone, nothing I can do about it. I picked up the new one yesterday, just not sure how much longer we will keep them. Affordability of keeping it just doesn't seem too feasible right now. Trying to cut expenses to pay off this house and get outta debt seems more appealing at this point in our lives! It has always been a priority but not the top one....now after Jimmy being laid off 7mo ago, we want that to be our priority so that it doesn't take as much for us to live. God has provided in abundance (which He always does) and we are VERy thankful for that.

Well, Granny has been here for several weeks now and it is going much better than I expected. She has her moments, but for the most part, it has been a fairly easy adjustment!

Have fun on your journey and enjoy life, be a blessing to someone else! Think about this.......what is one thing that someone could do for you that would be such a blessing......GO DO IT for someone else that needs it! Making dinner, helping with laundry, dishes, vacuuming, dusting, raking leaves, mowing grass, cleaning windows, anything!
