As most of you know my father was diagnosed with cancer in his throat Friday Jan. 11th, 2007. He met with the oncologist this Thursday to review the biopsy results and discuss the options of care. He was admitted to Meth. Hospital in Germantown Thursday afternoon. He has already had CAT Scans and a bone scan. A PET scan, PEG feeding tube and PortaCath are going to be completed hopefully by Monday. He has been battling a "sore spot" in his throat since April 07 and it would not show up on any tests (including CAT Scans) but was visible to the eye with a simple light. Why do we complicate things so......I see it.....therefore it is there! haha

My Daddy - his relationship with Christ, pain management and ease of treatments on his overall health.

My Momma - peace and comfort as she watched the man of her life for WOW 40 years go thru this most difficult journey yet.

My Sister (Amy) - peace and comfort and words to explain to her 2 boys what is going on with Papaw.

Me - peace and comfort and spoken words of wisdom for my 4 girls and 1 boy to explain what is going on with Papaw.

Right now words are hard to come by, but they flow anyway thru tears many days.

I will be posting pictures as I can of our entire family, try to have fun with this new venture and give God all the glory for maintaining my sanity thru being homemaker, teacher, wife, daughter, and Momma.
